Nicera is a community trainer who has led qualitative, mapping and research data collection in informal settlements, notably Kibera in Nairobi, Kenya. Nicera founded Community Mappers, for young people in informal settlements to develop their communities through mapping and data collection.

Carolina Tauro is a Principal Researcher of the SABIA-Mar ocean color mission at the Argentinian Space Agency (CONAE). She has a PhD in Physics. She works for CONAE since 2009, developing models and algorithms for the generation of scientific products derived from satellite information.

Silvana Camboim is a Professor at Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). She teaches Cartography, Geographic Databases and GIS for graduate and postgraduate courses and supervises students in masters and doctorate degrees.
